My name is JoElla and I have been showing and raising quality Abyssinian’s cats since 1990. I am a long standing member of the Abyssinian breeders International and throughout the years have been showing in southwest Region 5 Cat Fancier’s Association (CFA). My Love of the breed shows in the kittens I produce.They are extremely affectionate,beautiful and will provide years of love and companionship to the familys they are placed with. The Abyssinian is a medium-sized cat with a lean, muscular build that is fully developed around one year of age. The ears are relatively large, giving the cat a wild appearance similar to a Savannah cat. Sociable and super-inquisitive, the Abyssinian is not only one of the oldest of all cat breeds, but one of the most intelligent. Once thought to be descended from the hunting cats shown in ancient Egyptian tomb paintings, this elegant, colorful cat is extremely active and playful. The Abyssinian has a friendly and outgoing personality, so they love to play and hate being alone. While this medium-sized cat is very social, their adaptable temperament and playful nature allow them to find fun in tackling toys or racing up and down stairs (or scratching posts) all by themselves. Soon enough, though, an Aby will seek attention from their housemates, no matter the species.
